God i hate DRM, its silly and often causes people who might not download illegally to do so, because they learn hopw to download illegally, get something they cannot use easily as they expected, and have a Google and go wait i can download this without any limitations using this bit of software wow thats much easier...

Also applies to the likes of 4 on demand, pain in the backside when you cant use the episodes after a certain date or move on to other devices.

Sucks BAN DRM!

And also apple does NOT want DRM. It is the record labels who want it. Apple can not remove the DRM its up to the labels to change there minds and allow it to be sold without DRM. The problem is that the labels are scared by iTunes having such a large percentage of music sales and feel threatened by them having so much control.

Wohoo! That's definitely something that I was looking forward to. Now that they're going global, maybe iTunes and the other big names will be forced to take the DRMs off their music as well. Taking the DRMs off music is a boring task...
