I used to design free templates a couple of years ago, and it's surprising when you still get work coming through now just because you once put a link in a free template! Great idea Dan!

Not only this, but I've adopted the stance that people don't (currently at least) need to link back to the site or any other, and I'm unsure if people would participate in making themes if they didn't actually get any link credit from the work.
