Great idea Dan!

I'll keep an eye on your work - keep up the designing! With regards to the links, although you don't want to force the users to keep links, it's always great when they do.

I used to design free templates a couple of years ago, and it's surprising when you still get work coming through now just because you once put a link in a free template!

I have been thinking about it but I've come to the conclusion that if I want to use the site as a portfolio project when I go into web design, it'll be complicated to differentiate between my designs and other ones. Not only this, but I've adopted the stance that people don't (currently at least) need to link back to the site or any other, and I'm unsure if people would participate in making themes if they didn't actually get any link credit from the work.

Nice idea Dan. Have you thought about allowing other people to upload their work?
