Digital Pointless and my fraudulent infamy

Somehow, I’ve managed to pick up a reputation for being against the Digital Point(less) forums - I’ve got no idea how…

Before I launch into a rant, I want to briefly explain why I detest DP with a vengeance. I first released how rubbish filled the forum was when I started visiting Webmaster-Talk *reminisces* Back then, I just accepted this as fact, it coming from knowledgeable sources on spamming (they know who they are!) Anyway, I decided to embark on the forums myself as although they’re full of scammers, spammers and other idiots. While my experience didn’t last long, a very quick peak in on the SEO “badvice” I found was enough to confirm my fears. Right, time for the main subject, a blog post about none-other than ME!

This blog post, coming from a Digital Point member who must have also noticed me at Webmaster-Talk seems to sum up my feelings, even if it is slightly biased.

How did I find this junk? (anything associated with Digital Point(less) is usually rubbish in my mind) It was actually after Googling “digital pointless” - I’ve yet to see the rest of the results. *Checks for anything interesting* *Returns after I don’t find anything*

Actually, while I’d love to take all the credit for thinking up “digital pointless”, alas I can’t. Adam Senour (who is rapidly seeming to take all the credits for my posts ;)) actually came up with the phrase, I simply adopted it as well.

In essence though, this is very creative and highly descriptive of the nature of the Digital Point forums - they are generally full of the rubbish that the honest web developers want to be rid of. Let’s just hope Webmaster-Talk never becomes like this!

Sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience, haven read the garbage that is digital pointless. It’s too bad a lot of the people there are honest, nice, and being lied to.

Dan… You really think we are going to believe you?
Anyway, it’s up to you (and some others) today to prevent webmaster-talk to become what DP is today.

You can count on me too. I consider this place to be too valuable to let it fall that low.

I’ve been preaching the good news of white hat SEO on Digital Pointless. It’s made me unpopular.
