I’m going to keep this blog post fairly short today but I hope I’ll be able to entertain you So….

Is this web site the worst one ever? If not, it comes fairly close!

It’s the combination of the terrible background music, the flashing light under the header; the poor contrast between the red writing and the background; the background itself; the almost unreadable navigation bar; the flashing icons at the bottom; the poorly integrated Yahoo stuff and last but not least, the slow loading times. In fact, if you actually take a look at the other pages, say the “Artists” page, you get even more flashing junk to irritate you!

This has got to be one of the poorest designed web sites I’ve seen in quite a long time - it looks like it’s been pulled straight out of the mid 90s!

Of course, the web designer/creator isn’t solely responsible - the site was built by Yahoo SiteBuilder which should probably get some of the blame, but in the end, it was the webmaster who decided to use it. I’m guessing that they think the flashy things add a lot to their sites, but in reality, it just annoys you.
